About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Urban Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our planning group, you will be involved in high-profile urban development projects, collaborating with experts in planning, design, economics, and engagement.

As an Urban Planning Specialist, you will work on large-scale complex projects, managing other planning and development projects under the guidance of the Project Director. You will have excellent opportunities to develop your technical expertise, enhance your project management skills, and cultivate strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across multiple projects, including working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Take a key role in preparing planning deliverables, including Statement of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, and Planning Proposal Reports.
  • Have well-developed knowledge of the NSW planning system, with a demonstrated desire and ability to enhance and grow your expertise in this area.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, providing advice across both private and government authorities.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Planning or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in urban planning.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, industry, or renewable energy projects is desirable.
