Senior Strategic Planner Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategic Planner to join our team.

  • This role involves leading the assessment of complex planning proposals, negotiating Planning Agreements, and contributing to land use strategies, planning instruments, and urban design policy.
  • The successful candidate will represent Council's interests on State infrastructure and development projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage specialist consultants, and engage with community and government stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in town planning, urban design, or a related discipline, a proven track record in strategic planning, policy development, and complex assessment work, and strong communication skills.
