
Youth Mental Health Ambassador

We are seeking a proactive and community-focused individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop, facilitate, and evaluate a range of community events and health programs designed to improve mental health literacy and community awareness of challenges faced by young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality education, training, and community awareness programs and activities;
- Work closely with our clinical team to understand services provided and advocate for these services within the community;
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support program delivery;
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to advance the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Diploma qualification in youth work, mental health, or other relevant discipline;
- Experience in a similar role working with young people;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with and engage a variety of different people and stakeholders;
- Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as a member of a team;
- Strong organisation and time management skills;
- Excellent verbal communication and written skills;
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC;
- Current Driver's License.
