About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Bupa Dental in Toowoomba. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our dental practice, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage practice support staff, including running weekly team meetings and liaising between the Practice Principal and front office manager and the clinical team.
  • Assist with implant surgery, general dental treatment, cosmetic procedures, and other dental services.
  • Provide high-end patient care, building and maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly and light-hearted manner.
  • Liaise with the stock ordering staff member to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic, including instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on repairs and maintenance across the practice.
  • Roster staff and assist with department training and career progression of team members.
Requirements
  • Experience in a busy dental practice, ideally as a clinical coordinator with dental assistant experience.
  • Must hold either a Certificate 3 or 4 in Dental Assisting or 3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Proven record in time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent professional bearing, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to motivate others.
  • History of staff and clinical management.
  • A keen eye for detail, great organisation, and time management skills, as well as an ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to set an example for others (i.e., punctuality, skills, work ethic).
