Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ICT Procurement Support Officer to join our team on a contract basis for 12 months with extension options.

The successful candidate will work closely with program management, engineering and work streams to manage the acquisition and disposal of configuration items, including software and hardware.

You will be responsible for preparing and drafting procurement documentation, collating and presenting data to support organisational decisions, and maintaining a software asset management register.

In addition, you will provide assistance to the Business Intelligence Manager and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient work processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage acquisition and disposal of LNIC configuration items
  • Prepare and draft procurement documentation
  • Collate and present procurement activity data
  • Maintain software asset management register
  • Provide assistance to Business Intelligence Manager
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders

Essential Criteria:

  • Procurement & Contract Management Diploma or related Degree
  • Experience as a Procurement Support Officer or similar role
  • Delivering procurement support to executive level staff in a Government Department
  • Experience with IT Service Management Frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Experience in Software Asset Management
  • Sound skills in Microsoft Office software
  • Effective written skills
  • Able to work effectively in an agile team environment

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum active Negative Vetting - Level 1 security clearance
  • Willingsness to undertake Negative Vetting - Level 2 clearance vetting if required
