At IMC Financial Markets, we're seeking an exceptional Risk Management Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our risk management framework, ensuring the stability and success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Risk Framework: Develop and implement robust market risk limits and policies, ensuring consistent application across all trading activities.
  2. Risk Identification: Collaborate on stress tests and scenario analysis for various derivatives and delta-one strategies, identifying potential risks and developing mitigating strategies.
  3. Operational Risk Framework: Host an operational risk committee, analyzing trading incidents and handling operational risks to maintain a secure trading environment.
  4. Daily Monitoring: Ensure accurate and timely risk measures, controls, and processes are in place, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
  5. Reporting: Prepare detailed market risk reports and analysis, providing valuable insights to trading and management teams.
  6. New Product & Strategy Approval: Support new product and strategy approval processes, identifying risks and challenging different trading ideas constructively.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain relationships with clearing and exchange counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance and capital requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, or a similar field.
  2. Between 6-8 years of experience in front office risk management, preferably with a focus on derivatives or equities risk management.
  3. Proven track record of managing projects across multiple stakeholders, teams, and locations.
  4. Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of SQL is essential.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
