About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As an Environmental Scientist – Impact Assessment, you will play a key role in managing timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a range of projects across various industries, including Energy, Transport, and Water.
  • Assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of projects.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in environmental impact assessment.
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, such as environmental science, ecology, or a related field.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into accessible language in written work and other communications.
