We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team at uWorkin as a Wildlife Management Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and conserving our natural resources, while working closely with our First Nations Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork and research to monitor and manage wildlife populations and habitats.
- Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and preserve our natural resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including tourists and other stakeholders, to promote environmental awareness and education.
- Participate in emergency response and fire management activities as required.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure, including trails and facilities.
Requirements:
- High level of physical fitness and ability to work in varying climatic conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Previous experience in project management, research, fire services, pest management, or conservation-related fields.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
