Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team at uWorkin as a Wildlife Management Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and conserving our natural resources, while working closely with our First Nations Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct fieldwork and research to monitor and manage wildlife populations and habitats.
  2. Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and preserve our natural resources.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including tourists and other stakeholders, to promote environmental awareness and education.
  4. Participate in emergency response and fire management activities as required.
  5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure, including trails and facilities.

Requirements:

  1. High level of physical fitness and ability to work in varying climatic conditions.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  3. Previous experience in project management, research, fire services, pest management, or conservation-related fields.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
