Job Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity to support local workforce needs in partnership with business and communities. Our aim is to drive initiatives that inform policy development, making a practical difference to those who need it.

Main Responsibilities
  • We seek someone to build relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, employment services providers, and education and training organisations.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with colleagues to establish a Local Jobs Taskforce and identify regional jobs and skills priorities.
  • This person will help the community access government supports and opportunities to build skills and move into employment.
  • Key responsibilities include driving initiatives and providing advice to inform policy development.
  • They will work with local stakeholders to design and develop community-driven employment and training projects.
Requirements
  • A driver's licence and home internet are essential for this role.
  • A Working with Vulnerable People check is also required.
