Job Description

We are seeking a clinical leader to oversee the delivery of person-centered care services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Foster a collaborative approach among clinical and care staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and reviews to identify resident care needs.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of person-centered care services.
    • Coordinate admission processes for new residents and actively support the clinical care team.
    • Monitor and minimize clinical risk, meeting quality standards and KPIs.
    • Identify changes in resident care needs and support AN-ACC classification and funding.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the clinical capability of the care team.
    • Investigate clinical incidents and review outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Relevant postgraduate studies desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged care.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of Legislation governing aged care, including best practice guidelines and relevant professional codes of practice.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement, the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, assessment processes, and care planning.
  • Knowledge of OSH requirements in a healthcare setting.
