We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Research Centre Leader to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the clinical operation of the department/unit, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care through efficient resource utilisation.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and coordination of patient care, ensuring the effective functioning of the nursing team in the coordination of each team member providing care.

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is committed to delivering excellent patient care. As a Clinical Research Centre Leader, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

  • Ensuring the provision of an appropriate and safe standard of clinical care;
  • Assuming responsibility for providing leadership, direction, and coordination of patient care;
  • Ensuring the effective functioning of the nursing team in the coordination of each team member providing care;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills including problem-solving, balancing competing demands, and conflict resolution;
  • An understanding of the complexities of the paediatric tertiary referral environment;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of healthcare services.
