Leading urban design projects requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen.

This exceptional opportunity will see you lead complex urban design initiatives from inception to delivery, mentoring a high-performing team and contributing directly to the firm's strategic growth.

About You:
  • You possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Architecture or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience in urban design, preferably in a consultancy environment in New South Wales.
  • A proven track record in client management, business development, and winning new work is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team management skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • A strong understanding of NSW planning policies and development controls is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Lead and manage complex urban design projects from concept to completion.
  2. Team Development: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the urban design portfolio.
  3. Design Solutions: Provide expert technical advice on urban design principles and deliver high-quality, innovative design solutions.
  4. Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of urban designers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Strategic Direction: Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the urban design team and the broader business.
