Motorcycle Claims Officer

The role of a Motorcycle Claims Officer is to provide superior claims service to our clients. This involves delivering high-quality results, determining policy coverage, and negotiating assigned cases. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing lodgements and repairs for Motorcycle Claims using multiple claims systems and processes.
  • Maintaining positive stakeholder relationships with the insured, agents, and service providers.
  • Interpreting policy coverage and determining if coverage applies to claims submitted.
  • Receiving, recording, and processing incoming insurance claims.
  • Authorizing payments within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.
  • Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and arranging investigations.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within Motor Claims is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A quick learner who is comfortable with technology.
  • While not essential, a passion for motorcycles would be a plus.
