Job Description

Catalyst Metals Limited owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia, producing approximately 85koz of gold annually.

Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, this position involves short-term development designs, regional evaluations, scheduling, and ensuring operational targets are achieved.

  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant mining industry experience is necessary.
  • Underground production and planning experience in mechanised hard-rock mining is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise across all planning processes (long to short term) is required.
  • Strong skills in mine design (development and production) are needed.
  • Proficiency with Deswik software suite is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to integrate geological, geotechnical, and operational considerations into robust plans, are essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
