
Incident Response Specialist

**Job Opportunity:**
As a critical responder with our organization, you will play a pivotal role in responding to emergencies and executing tasks as directed by the Operations Manager. This is a permanent position on a rotational shift pattern of 42 hours per week over an 8-week cycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to incidents as required
- Execute duties as directed by the Operations Manager
- Work a 42-hour week over an 8-week cycle on consecutive shifts
- 2 Day shifts from 0800 hours to 1800 hours
- 2 Night shifts from 1800 hours to 0800 hours
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 60 months as a paid firefighter within the fire and rescue industry
- Completed all required Public Safety units up to and including the position of Critical Responder
- PUA20613 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- PUA30613 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operation)
- Hold PUA40313 Certificate IV in Public Safety (Firefighting Supervision)
- Hold Certificate IV TAE
**Additional Requirements:**
- Hold PUAFIR305B Respond to Aviation Incidents (General) and PUAFIR205B Respond to Aviation Incidents (Specialist)
- Hold PUAFIR209B Work safely around aircraft
- Hold HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid
- Hold HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret) As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen
- Ability to successfully pass an ARFF pre-employment medical
