We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with relevant experience to take on the role of Equipment Manager at our Sydney facility, on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct daily operations within the equipment divisions, ensuring seamless coordination with our logistics partners.
  • Implement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies across all sections.
  • Establish and track performance indicators for team leaders and supervisors.
  • Address and resolve daily operational challenges, including equipment shortages, to maintain service excellence.
  • Ensure team members are informed about airline service requirements and any updates.
  • Guarantee that all flights are executed in accordance with customer specifications and within agreed timelines.
  • Promptly communicate any equipment shortages to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain agreed equipment inventory levels on-site for airline operations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and as-needed reports.
  • Adhere to and promote dnata catering policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to changes in departmental functions as necessitated by business demands.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement strategies to mitigate their impact.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to supervisors and team members within your department.
  • Assess and identify training and development needs for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with training records and licensing requirements as per company standards.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Experience in operational management within the airline sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor teams of varying sizes.
  • Eligibility to obtain an ASIC Pass.
  • Forklift License is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a National Police Check due to the nature of the aviation services industry.
