Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify leadership by performing all tasks associated with Senior Catering Attendant and Catering Attendant roles.
  • Oversee, mentor, and onboard team members, ensuring compliance with all internal and external protocols.
  • Implement quality assurance practices to meet customer expectations consistently.
  • Maintain organization within your area of responsibility, ensuring productivity and performance standards are achieved.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for enhancing efficiency and output in designated workspaces.
  • Conduct investigations into stock discrepancies.
  • Utilize knives and machinery with proficiency.
  • Ensure team members adhere to scheduled breaks and shifts.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Execute directives from management effectively.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with specifications and customer requirements.
  • Perform administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to the Galley Loading Plan (GPL), Cart Packing Plan (CPP), and Equipment Loading Plan (ELP) relevant to the role.
  • Comply with company policies regarding HALAL, HACCP, QSAI/Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, and Customs as applicable.
  • Assist in various areas of the unit as operational demands dictate.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Availability to work flexible shifts throughout the week on a full-time basis.
  • Experience in a food service environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knife handling skills.
  • Fine motor skills.
  • Access to personal transportation.
  • Strong numerical proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and hygiene standards.
  • Experience with HACCP protocols.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
