Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline daily operations within the equipment division.
  • Collaborate effectively with our third-party logistics partner.
  • Implement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices across all operational areas.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team leaders and supervisors.
  • Address and resolve daily operational challenges, including equipment shortages.
  • Guarantee that team members are informed about airline service requirements and updates.
  • Ensure all flights are executed accurately according to customer specifications and timelines.
  • Highlight equipment shortages to relevant internal stakeholders promptly.
  • Maintain agreed-upon equipment par levels on-site for airlines.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of and compliance with dnata catering policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to changes in departmental functions based on business needs.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement strategies to mitigate their impact.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to supervisors and team members.
  • Assess training and development needs for team members as required.
  • Ensure all employee training records and certifications are current and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Experience in operational management within the airline sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor small to medium-sized teams effectively.
  • Eligibility to obtain an ASIC Pass.
  • Forklift License is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a National Police Check due to the nature of the aviation services industry.
