Position Overview:
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to identify, evaluate, and mitigate losses within the supply chain framework to improve operational efficiency and enhance profitability. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics, coupled with robust data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loss Evaluation & Documentation: Conduct thorough analyses of supply chain data to identify loss trends and underlying causes. Generate and disseminate detailed reports to cross-functional teams, proposing strategies for loss minimization.
- Supply Chain Loss Reduction Initiatives: Facilitate weekly discussions with stakeholders to define and monitor actions aimed at reducing supply chain losses, ensuring accountability and providing updates on progress. Collaborate with partners to coordinate donation initiatives.
- Process Enhancement: Partner with stakeholders across supply, demand, logistics, procurement, revenue management, and sales to tackle loss contributors and improve processes to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Financial Contributions: Assist in monthly closing processes with the Supply Chain Finance team to accurately reflect changes in provisions and write-offs, while refining forecasting methods to better anticipate future losses.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for identifying and reducing losses.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex data effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects collaboratively while holding oneself and the team accountable.
- Experience with JDE/BPCS/Blue Yonder/JDA is advantageous.
- Relevant educational qualifications and certifications (CSCP, CTSC, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred.
- A background in supply chain management or loss prevention, particularly in fast-moving consumer goods or products with limited shelf life.
- Experience in a commercial environment with an understanding of financial processes.
