Senior Market Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Analyst to join our team at ENGIE. As a key member of our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business unit, you will be responsible for providing analysis and commercial insights to drive strategic decision-making across our trading activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with external consultants and communicate outputs of long-term price modelling to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants on long-term price models, ensuring alignment with ENGIE's views.
- Manage, document, and lead the development of internal assumptions used in various scenarios in ENGIE's long-term modelling.
- Collaborate with global business units in the development of corporate strategies for ENGIE and represent the Australian perspective in global discussions and decision-making processes as needed.
- Digest key reports from internal and external sources and disseminate key information within the team and to other departments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant energy market news and share insights with the team and stakeholders while contributing to formulating ENGIE's view on trends in long-term commodity prices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field and a strong understanding of long-term price modelling and energy market principles. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
