Senior Substation Engineering Leader Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Substation Engineering Leader. This position offers flexibility with opportunities in multiple locations:

  • Tampa, FL
  • Pensacola, FL
  • Charlotte, NC

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substation engineering and leadership experience. They should be able to manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading all phases of substation projects from design through construction and commissioning
  • Overseeing design, analysis, and optimization of substations
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance across departments

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in substation engineering with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of substation design software and tools
