Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitality Support Worker to join our team at Holy Spirit Croydon. As part of our catering team, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining service
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
