Operations Supervisor Role

We are seeking an experienced operations supervisor to lead daily operations during the Monday to Friday shift and provide crucial coverage for annual leave.

This role offers a fast-paced environment and flexible working schedule with opportunities to make a real impact broaden your skills across all aspects of the business and commit to ongoing growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in transport and logistics and be able to develop and implement effective load planning strategies.

Key responsibilities include managing and allocating daily jobs coordinating with workshop teams liaising with customers and warehouse partners overseeing warehouse and yard operations and proactively addressing transport issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Load Planning Strategies: Develop and implement effective load planning strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Daily Job Management: Manage and allocate daily jobs to ensure smooth operation of the depot.
  • Workshop Coordination: Coordinate with workshop teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers and warehouse partners to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee warehouse and yard operations to ensure safe and efficient storage and handling of goods.
  • Transport Issue Resolution: Proactively address transport issues to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery.
You'll Bring:
  • Operations Supervision Experience: Proven experience as an operations supervisor with a strong background in transport and logistics.
  • Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Autonomy and Accountability: Ability to work autonomously with a high level of accountability.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
