Fire Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing fire alarm systems on site, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients' sites.

  • You will survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with our procedures and processes.
  • Identify, test, service and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with our procedures and processes.
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner using systems including Field Services handheld technology.
About You
  • You should have experience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industry.
  • A current Electrical licence is mandatory.
  • You should also have unrestricted work rights.
  • A current Driver's licence and Cabling licence are preferred.
  • You should have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check is essential.
  • A sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is necessary.
  • Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and EAHL certification are highly desirable.
