Talent Focus is partnering with a local community to recruit a dedicated and experienced director/coordinator for their out-of-school-hours care service. This critical position oversees and manages the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, quality management, program oversight, human resources, and professional engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Policies, Procedures, and Compliance Management

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Policies: Annual review and update of policies, with quarterly reporting to the community OSHC committee.
  • Human Resources: Effective recruitment, orientation, induction, and performance reviews with biannual assessments.
  • Quality Improvement Plan: Ongoing assessment and maintenance of the QIP.
  • Compliance: Rigorous oversight and monitoring of compliance with legislation.
  • General Management: Effective grievance management, positive stakeholder engagement, budget adherence, and efficient enrolment management.
  • Program Oversight: Support for the educational leader and implementation of the educational framework.
  • Professional Engagement: Participation in performance reviews, professional development, and community engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in managing out-of-school-hours services or similar educational programs.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability in policy development and implementation.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial oversight.
