Hardware Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Development Manager to lead our team of engineers in designing and developing high quality technology products. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in hardware development and project management to drive the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of engineers in the design and development of high quality technology products from project planning to product release for field testing.
  • Guide and direct the development efforts of the team towards successful project delivery, providing technical leadership through coaching and mentorship.
  • Conduct hands-on development work, including engineering and development activities.
  • Identify areas for growth and improvement within the team, implementing strategies to optimize performance and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development with managing direct reports.
  • Previous R&D experience, preferably in PCB design software (Altium) and firmware design for microcontrollers (C based).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication with senior management and departments.
  • Project management experience, with knowledge of network configuration and sensor systems desired but not essential.
