Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior electronics design engineer to join our hardware design team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of electronic products from concept to manufacture, ensuring that quality standards are met in line with our company's quality management system.

  • Lead electronic project design and development activities including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, pcb artwork, verification, test and manufacture.
  • Act as product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the hardware team through improving your own capabilities and developing junior colleagues.
  • Evaluate current and potential work for the hardware team.
  • Perform technical reviews for hardware designs and documents.
  • Act as technical contact to clients and project managers for any electronics design related matters.
  • Improve hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree from a reputable University (e.g. Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
  • At least 7 years' experience as a professional electronics design engineer.
  • Registration as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria).
  • Competence in the design of analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience in the design of electronic products from concept to manufacture.
  • Proficiency in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
