Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute and collect customer menus, food trays, and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality patient meals.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Catering team to achieve our goals and objectives, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and communication.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment, with a focus on food service and patient care.
  • Food Safety Certificate and practical application of executing food standards in a healthcare setting (desirable).
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, public holidays, and weekends.
  • Evidence of current Hepatitis B immunity or the ability to obtain necessary vaccinations unless medically exempt.
