About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team at Friendly Society Private Hospital. As a key member of our Catering team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute and collect customer menus, food trays, and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Catering team to achieve seamless service delivery and meet patient satisfaction targets.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment, with a focus on food service and patient care.
  • Food Safety Certificate and practical application of executing food standards in a healthcare setting (desirable).
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, public holidays, and weekends.
  • Evidence of current Hepatitis B immunity or the ability to obtain necessary vaccinations (unless medically exempt).
