About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team at Friendly Society Private Hospital. As a key member of our Catering team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient-oriented customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute and collect customer menus, food trays, and beverages, as well as assist with basic food preparation.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and food areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, and service provision in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Food Safety Certificate and practical application of executing food standards in a healthcare setting (desirable).
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, public holidays, and weekends.
  • Evidence of current Hepatitis B immunity or the ability to obtain necessary vaccinations unless medically exempt.
