Senior Learning Support Leader

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring students in Years 10–12 receive tailored individual support plans, identifying their learning needs and monitoring their progress.

About the Position:

  • The successful candidate will lead the transition of students with learning difficulties from Middle to Senior School, coordinating strategies to ensure seamless integration.
  • They will be responsible for developing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for students requiring additional support and working closely with staff to implement consistent strategies.
  • Liaising with external agencies and industry partners will be key to supporting student pathways and providing strategic direction for inclusive education.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing flexible and modified SACE learning plans, collaborating with the SACE Coordinator and supporting staff in curriculum adjustments and pedagogical modifications.
  • Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records for NCCD reporting, and collaborating with parents/caregivers to support student learning and transitions are essential aspects of this role.
