About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist to join our Queensland Rail Corridor Maintenance team.

Job Summary

This casual role will involve working Monday to Friday shifts in the Queensland Rail corridor, utilizing mowers, brush cutters, blowers, and completing graffiti removal and tree trimming tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a Queensland Rail Corridor Maintenance team to maintain rail infrastructure.

• Conduct regular inspections of rail corridors to identify maintenance needs.

• Perform tasks such as mowing, pruning, and clearing vegetation.

• Assist with graffiti removal and tree trimming.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RIW (Rail Industry Workers Card)
  • Current SARC (Qld) accreditation – Safely Access Rail Corridor
  • Current WET accreditation (Qld) – Working in Electrified Territory
  • Current Cat 3 Rail Medical Current Network Lockout Accreditation

You will also need:

  • Experience & knowledge as detailed above
  • Driver's Licence & vehicle
  • Good team player
  • Strong work ethic with no attendance issues
  • Willing to be subject to regular / random drug & alcohol testing
  • Physically fit
  • Work Rights – Australian work rights required for eligibility
Salary and Benefits

This casual role offers an estimated annual salary of $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.
