About the Role

As a Signalling Electrician with Ventia, you will be responsible for performing inspections, assessments, and maintenance of the track and associated equipment to ensure the safety and integrity of the Brisbane Airport Rail Link. This is a critical infrastructure project that connects the Brisbane Airport with the Queensland Rail network.

  • Maintenance of engineering systems, plant, equipment, and depot facilities.
  • Routine inspections, maintenance, and repair activities on signalling, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Attending to failures, including identifying and reporting on the cause of failure.
  • Responding to after-hours signalling, electrical, and mechanical call-outs to system failures and incidents affecting train services.
  • Assisting with developing improvement maintenance plans, technical instructions, and procedures to improve productivity.
  • Providing on-the-job assistance and knowledge to other team members.
