Store Person Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Store Person at Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned culinary team, ensuring our high standards of service are met by managing the smooth flow of inventory and supplies into the kitchen.
  • You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies, accurately storing inventory in designated areas, and organizing and distributing items to various kitchen and service areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and processing incoming shipments, checking for damage or discrepancies, and reporting any issues to management.
  2. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock quantities and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  3. Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and properly disposing of waste.
  4. Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and providing solutions that meet customer needs.
  5. Collaborating with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, communicating effectively, and resolving any issues that may arise.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, or logistics role (preferably in the hospitality or food industry) would be highly beneficial.
  • A strong organizational skills set, with attention to detail and ability to multitask, would be essential in this role.
  • An excellent communicator with interpersonal skills would enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes and items, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
