About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Consultant to join our team at Suncorp Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the financial needs of customers and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate opportunities for sales specialists to promote our products and services.
  • Provide recommendations to store managers to improve sales performance.
  • Assess customer needs through open communication and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide accurate and timely service by processing transactions and promoting electronic banking channels.
  • Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp's values.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, or finance are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
  • Analytical skills to develop solutions and recommend courses of action.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately process tasks.
  • Change management skills to recognize and support the need for change.
  • Commercial acumen to recognize and implement business strategies.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information confidently and coherently.
