Job Title: Principal Contract Coordinator

The Principal Contract Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating Deakin's research endeavors by coordinating the development, negotiation and execution of diverse research contracts with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinating contract formation and negotiations to ensure seamless project execution;
  • Negotiating and executing research contracts with industry partners, universities, funding bodies, government departments, and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Providing administrative support for research projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of contract details, including terms, conditions, and amendments;
  • Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure timely delivery of contracted outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:


  • 3+ years of experience in contract coordination or a related field;
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables;
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
