Key Appointment in Risk Management Securitisation

This key appointment will provide strategic guidance to the business around the management of financial risk across their Asset Finance and Securitisation business in Australia.

The successful candidate will possess at least 10 years' experience in the development and implementation of new securitisation activities, including advisory to front-line teams on risk considerations.

A deep knowledge across securitised products (ABS, RMBS, CMBS, warehouses) and asset classes is essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Steer the setup and growth of securitisation and financing activities in Australia, shaping risk appetite, governance, infrastructure, and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead comprehensive credit assessments and approvals for securitisation deals, covering credit, market, liquidity, operational, ESG, and jurisdictional risks.
  • Oversee periodic reviews, stress testing, exposure monitoring, and Watch List contributions, ensuring timely escalation of material risk issues.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across securitised asset classes, including securitisation swaps and alternative financing structures.
  • Engage with Credit Committees, and key stakeholders to enhance credit policy, risk frameworks, and data quality.
