Job Title:

Demographic Analyst - Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Demographic Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Information Management and Business Intelligence section, you will be responsible for undertaking complex data analysis and producing high-quality reports that inform business strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and interpret demographic data to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support business needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality data analysis and research products.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve business processes and operations.

Requirements:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistics and data analysis software (SAS).
- Experience working with large data sets and computational analyses.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in demographics, statistics, data science/analytics, mathematics, computer science, economics or equivalent.

Eligibility:

- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Must undergo and maintain a character clearance.
