Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Psychologist to work in a part-time capacity.
This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including 2 other experienced psychologists and a large allied health team.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Provide comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment to a variety of clients, with the majority being in the pain management program
- Treatment Delivery: Face-to-face and telehealth treatment
- Group Sessions: Conducting psychology group sessions
- Team Collaboration: Participation in team meetings, patient case conferences, and supervision sessions
- Reporting: Assessment and discharge report writing
- Program Development: Participation in program development and quality improvement initiatives
- Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Psychology
- Membership: Eligibility for membership to the Australian Psychological Association
- Experience: Experience working in a pain management or rehabilitation desirable
- Therapy Skills: Experience in providing individual therapy, and facilitating psychological educational groups
- Time Management: Display exceptional time management and a high degree of flexibility
- Teamwork: Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Specialization: Membership to APS College of Clinical Psychologists desired
- Advanced Qualifications: Advanced qualifications and expertise in a particular therapeutic model are welcomed
