The Role

As our Pastry Division Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our pastry kitchen, ensuring the creation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that showcase traditional and contemporary Italian flavors. Your expertise will be pivotal in crafting seasonal menus and collaborating with our executive chef to develop special events and catering menus.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage the pastry team, focusing on recruitment, training, and development.
• Design and execute seasonal menus highlighting traditional Italian pastries and innovative creations.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all pastry products.
• Collaborate with the executive chef to develop special events and catering menus.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety in the pastry kitchen.
• Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control food costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pastry techniques, and customer preferences to drive innovation.

Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Extensive experience as a pastry chef, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
• Expert knowledge of Italian pastries, desserts, and baking techniques.
