Job Description

Our client, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, is seeking an experienced Materials Management Lead to join their team in Perth. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics and materials management activities, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for project logistics and materials management.
  • Direct and manage the Site Warehouse Manager and Logistics Lead as needed.
  • Oversight and management of the Logistics and Materials Management team at site.
  • Coordinate warehouse personnel and availability for receiving goods.
  • Direct and manage other materials management key personnel and blue-collar construction contractor manpower in relation to warehousing and materials management activities.
  • Ensure all material and equipment are properly documented with all required certifications and preservation instructions.
  • Collaborate with key site stakeholders to support the tactical level coordination of all materials deliveries.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in materials management.
  • Experience working on large EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Prior experience with EPC materials management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering material take-off processes.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
