About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Materials Supervisor to join our Woodman Point Project team on site.

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively supervising and completing nominated material management tasks within the project with a key focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project warehousing, site services activities, materials laydowns, and logistics activity with particular emphasis on management of warehousing and warehouse storage areas, including receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials and equipment from site.
  • Maintenance of materials tracking records within Inventory systems for materials and consumables, associated logistics movement, and storage location.
  • Overall area supervision of site services team including materials, equipment, and subcontractors (when requested).
  • Manage the project's material management system.
  • Creation of Purchase Requisitions on the project's procurement system.
  • Ensure that all incidents and injuries that occur are reported and addressed as quickly as possible.
  • Facilitate Pre-Start, Toolbox, and JSA meetings.
  • Participate and promote the Safety Management Plan and the Environmental Management Plan.

About You

  • Construction White/Blue Card.
  • Trade Qualification or significant on-the-job experience.
  • 5+ years minimum experience in a similar role or 2+ years site-based experience in a construction/engineering/mining environment.
  • Current Australian 'HR' Class Drivers license & PTD.
  • Fire Extinguisher Training (highly desirable).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Independent self-driven team player approach, exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and engage internal and external stakeholders.
