About the Role

C&L Tool Centre Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives in Queensland's thriving market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic partnerships and market insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new customer segments, leveraging your expertise in the industrial space to drive growth.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions, ensuring long-term partnerships and loyalty.
  3. Sales Lead Generation: Generate sales leads through networking, industry events, and market research, staying ahead of the competition in a rapidly evolving market.
  4. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies, collaborating with our marketing team and preferred suppliers to drive results.
  5. CRM Management: Manage CRM data and sales pipeline to ensure accuracy and effectiveness, providing regular reporting and analysis to inform decision-making and performance monitoring.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience in business development or sales management, with a strong track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets.
  2. Relationship-Building Skills: Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Communication and Presentation: Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions, with a strong understanding of CRM systems and sales tools.
