Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and providing financial analysis and advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management reports, including profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare budgets and manage financial planning and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of BAS and IAS returns.
- Perform reconciliations, including GST, wages, and superannuation.
- Generate client invoices and manage receipt of payment.
- Liaise with external third parties, including engineers and financial advisors.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or resource industry setting.
- Proficiency in MYOB Accountright or other MYOB products.
- Exposure to job costing is advantageous.
- A self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
