Offender Support Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled professional to assume the role of Case Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting offenders in achieving their court orders while maintaining community safety.
This involves managing a caseload of offenders with varying order requirements aimed at reducing reoffending risks.
Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing case plans, providing interventions and addressing underlying causes of offending behavior.
Additionally, the successful candidate will direct and monitor compliance with offender obligations under court-ordered conditions.
Effective case management practices will be employed to engage offenders and provide targeted interventions, contributing to reduced reoffending risks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Strong understanding of case management principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including offenders and stakeholders;
- Proficiency in assessing and managing risk;
- Capacity to develop and implement effective case plans;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- High level of emotional intelligence and empathy;
