Offender Services Specialist

We are seeking an Offender Services Specialist to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with offenders and making a positive impact in the community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and advice to Corrections Victoria at the Metropolitan Remand Centre, as well as contributing to the holistic management of prisoners at the MRC.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide individual assessments and referrals which are responsive to individual prisoner needs.
- Facilitate group prisoner orientation sessions and information sessions.
- Contribute to community transition, monitoring, and encouraging program involvement and community referral for post release issues.
This role is a key part of our team's efforts to provide offender services and support. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of offenders and contribute to creating a safer community.
- About You:
- You will possess demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You will have experience in or understanding of working within a Correctional environment.
