Job Title: Employment Lawyer

The company is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their team as a trusted advisor on employment law and industrial relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment and industrial relations law, including compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Support the implementation of new employment and industrial relations legislation and ensure legally compliant enterprise practices.
  • Manage compliance risks and quantify legal risks in matters across the organisation's industrial landscape.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years post-admission experience as a qualified lawyer (in-house and/or private practice).
  • Strong knowledge of employment and industrial relations law, including operation of awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Demonstrable understanding of legal principles and judicial procedures.
  • Proven experience in commercial negotiations and providing strategic legal advice.
  • Commercial mindset with experience in change management.
