Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is seeking an ICT professional to join our team as a Hotel Technology Specialist. This role will see you oversee and optimize the application technology in our hotels, ensuring seamless tech-based operations to enhance guest experience and boost internal efficiency.

This role bridges the gap between daily operations and project-based improvements, making sure new technologies are smoothly integrated into the hotel infrastructure while maintaining operational stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain hotel management technology systems
  • Implement and integrate new technology solutions
  • Guiding and training staff in the effective use of hotel business applications
  • Troubleshoot hardware or application issues
  • Support system upgrades and changes

Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications in hospitality systems (e.g. Oracle Cloud Hospitality)
  • 3 – 5 year's experience in IT roles within hospitality industry
  • Experience with APIs and system integration techniques
  • Experience with data integration, data query and analysis techniques
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale systems
  • Experience with broad range of hotel operation technologies including human resources, time management systems, reporting software
  • Experience in managing service level agreements and work with vendor support teams
