Women's Support Worker

Our mission is to empower women to transform their lives. Since 1988, we have been providing crisis, recovery and longer-term accommodation, as well as outreach services and an integrated Women's Centre that supports mental health, wellbeing, education, and community connection.
About the RoleYou will provide hands-on support to women living in our Recovery Program and Supported Accommodation Service.
- Deliver daily client care including crisis response, daily living assistance, and independent living skill development.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, referrals, and client documentation.
- Support meal preparation, housekeeping and general household tasks.
- Collaborate with case workers and program staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.
- Contribute to a respectful, safe and supportive environment for clients.
Experience supporting clients with mental health challenges, trauma, or disadvantage is essential. You must also have strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach, and be able to manage incidents, de-escalation and crisis situations calmly.
A knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented frameworks is highly desirable. If you are passionate about empowering women and working in a collaborative, values-led team, we encourage you to apply.
