About the Role

In this position, you will collaborate closely with business experts, project stakeholders, and solution delivery teams to define, design, implement, test, document, and deliver PSImetals solutions to our customers. This includes system monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into a solution design and specification
  • Supporting customers with the implementation, customization, and commissioning of PSImetals solutions within a team of qualified developers and consultants
  • Becoming a reliable partner of the customer and building a trustful relationship with their team
  • Developing expertise to advise on and design the customer's production processes and system landscape
  • Training and supporting the customer in the daily operation of the PSImetals solution
  • Continuously improving running PSImetals implementations
  • Performing customer workshops and delivering presentations on specific PSImetals modules

Requirements

Necessary:

  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Integrated Manufacturing or related disciplines
  • Curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask 'why'
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at our customers' locations
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Valid work permit for the location of application
  • Fluent communication skills in English

Preferred:

  • Experience as an MES or Engineering Consultant
  • Experience in MES Integration with ERP and L2 Systems
  • Knowledge or experience with Planning and Scheduling (APS Systems)
  • Knowledge or experience in the metals industry
  • Analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Understanding of various software development lifecycles, e.g. Agile, Waterfall
  • SQL, PL/SQL, and JAVA development experience
